O.J. McDuffie and the Catch 81 Foundation Overview E-mail
O.J. McDuffie, a former First Team All-American graduated from Penn State University in 1992. He was then drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the first round where his entire nine year career began and flourished. “Juice” quickly became Dan Marino’s favorite target, breaking multiple receiving records, including leading the NFL in receptions in 1998 and team MVP honors in 1997 and 1998. His commitment and passion to the South Florida community didn’t end with his contributions on the field. Prior to his retirement in 2001, OJ contributed much of his time to various charitable causes and continues his dedication to help the areas youth through his work with his Catch 81 Foundation.

The O.J. McDuffie Catch 81 Foundation, Inc. was founded in July, 2006 as a 501c3 not-for-profit public fundraising foundation. The mission is to provide financial assistance for the disadvantaged youths throughout the South Florida community.

The O.J. McDuffie Catch 81 Foundation is very proud of its accomplishments. Through fund raising efforts and donations, the Foundations has benefitted the Sheridan House Single Parent Ministries, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Alonzo Mourning Holiday Party, The Boys and Girls Club, NFL YET Center, the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and the American Cancer Society-Relay for Life.
